Salesforce, Nvidia, CrowdStrike deliver AI-earnings trifecta as CRM Agentforce ARR clears $1.5B

CRM surged 22% Thursday after Agentforce ARR hit $1.5B, up 240%. Nvidia and CrowdStrike also beat, giving the software tape its clearest AI-revenue proof yet.

Salesforce shares surged 22% Thursday after the company reported Agentforce annualized recurring revenue of $1.5 billion, up more than 240% year-over-year, resolving what had been the loudest open question on the software tape: whether the enterprise agent story was a demo or a P&L event.

The print landed inside a three-for-three AI-earnings week. Nvidia rose about 7% and CrowdStrike roughly 20%, the latter delivering 26% revenue growth as AI-powered attacks drove demand for stronger defenses. Taken together, the trio pushed back against the doom-loop framing that AI capex is a zero-sum drag on operating software.

The Salesforce numbers do the analytical work. Q2 FY27 revenue reached $11.3 billion, up 11%, a hair under the $11.33 billion consensus but redeemed by non-GAAP diluted EPS of $5.90 (up 103%) against a $3.27 estimate, and GAAP diluted EPS of $4.29, up 119%. Combined Agentforce and Data 360 ARR is nearly $3.9 billion, up over 210%. Agentforce ARR growth accelerated from 205% the prior quarter. Current remaining performance obligation of $33.5 billion grew 14%; total RPO reached $66.3 billion, up 11%. Operating cash flow rose 71% to $1.3 billion, free cash flow rose 81% to $1.1 billion, and non-GAAP operating margin hit 34.1%. Management raised full-year revenue guidance to $46.1B–$46.4B and adjusted EPS to $16.67–$16.71, from a prior $14.06–$14.12.

The usage figures underneath are the tell. Agentic Work Units hit 3.2 billion in the quarter, up 97% sequentially, with 7.0 billion delivered to date across Agentforce and Slack. Data 360 ingested 104 trillion records, up 355%; Zero Copy records grew 731% to 82 trillion; Slackbot users rose over 150% quarter-over-quarter. Bookings more than doubled sequentially, and Salesforce disclosed that 9 of the top 10 AI companies run on Salesforce and Slack, with their combined spend up 435% year-over-year. Salesforce’s balance-sheet posture matched the tone: a $25 billion accelerated share repurchase, 103 million shares delivered initially, final settlement expected October 2026. President and Chief Financial and Operating Officer Robin Washington said NNAOV growth is the strongest in four years.

CEO Marc Benioff has spent a year defending Agentforce against skeptics who read AI as a cost center displacing seats. Nvidia’s Jensen Huang and Colette Kress reinforced the demand read, noting customer ROIC inside a year and that hyperscalers are only half the book, with Amazon committing to 2 million additional GPUs across 2027 and 2028. CrowdStrike’s George Kurtz rounded out the trifecta.

Writing in CNBC, Yale’s Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, Steven Tian, and Stephen Henriques argued the next AI battleground isn’t models. Thursday’s tape agreed.
