Salesforce ships Hunter outbound agent with ZoomInfo, Demandbase and Apollo data bundled in

Hunter is in pilot now with GA set for November, pairing Sales Cloud context with ZoomInfo's 100M-company graph and Demandbase intent signals at no extra contract.

Salesforce used Dreamforce to unveil Hunter, an Agentforce-built outbound sales agent that researches accounts, surfaces buying signals, drafts personalized outreach, and runs follow-ups across multi-day cycles, with ZoomInfo, Demandbase, and Apollo named flagship data partners at no additional contract cost.

“no separate contracts are needed, ZoomInfo ships with Hunter out-of-the-box,” said Rohan Punamia, VP of product management at Salesforce. The framing is the point. Yahoo Finance read the launch as Salesforce converting seat-based licensing into a usage-led AI subscription, which lands against a backdrop that’s getting crowded fast: see HubSpot’s shift from seats to outcomes and Benchmark and Index pricing the outcome layer at $285M.

Underneath Hunter sits ZoomInfo’s GTM Context Graph, 100 million companies, 500 million contacts, and billions of signals piped in through the GTM.AI headless layer, the same plumbing that already powers Salesforce’s Prospecting Agent and integrations with Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio, HubSpot Breeze, and Gong. Demandbase contributes real-time B2B engagement data, buying-group identification, and MCP-powered natural-language queries. Apollo brings 240 million contacts and seven prospecting actions. The data layer is becoming horizontal; Salesforce’s bet is that the agent runtime, and the CRM it writes back to, is where the margin lives.

Salesforce is already posting a trophy stat: Perk says 60% of its sales pipeline is now built by its own-branded Hunter deployment. Hunter is in pilot by invitation, with general availability scheduled for November 2026.

The catch for most B2B small businesses is the stack bill. Hunter requires Sales Cloud, Agentforce licensing, and a pilot nod. For a founder running outbound without any of that, the question isn’t whether Hunter is impressive. It’s whether the same outbound work can arrive without the enterprise footprint.

That’s the opening for a done-for-you service. LemonLime evaluates 50+ lead-source and buying-signal types, prepares personalized outreach for owner approval, and onboards in under two minutes with a business name and website. No CRM commitment. The outcome category Salesforce just made legible to the market is now also the category a founder-led business can buy outright.
