HubSpot ships Breeze Assistant and self-updating Smart CRM, claims 3.6x more MQLs on Growth Context stack
At UNBOUND 26, HubSpot debuted an action-taking Breeze Assistant, a touchless CRM, Marketing Studio, and a first-of-its-kind ChatGPT Ads integration — with Analyst Day scheduled for Sept. 17.
HubSpot opened UNBOUND 26 in Boston today with a platform release built around an action-taking Breeze Assistant, a self-updating Smart CRM, and internal numbers designed to reframe what “agentic CRM” means for small teams: customers on the full Growth Context stack generate 3.6x more MQLs, 3.2x more deals won, and over 2x more support tickets closed.
Analyst Day runs 10:00 a.m. to roughly 12:30 p.m. ET, and those figures are the ones the sell side will spend the next two hours pressing on.
The redesign turns Breeze into a dispatcher. Instead of a user picking between a Prospecting, Content, Campaign, or Nurture agent, the Assistant selects and coordinates them behind a single prompt. MarTech’s read is that Breeze can now identify an underperforming segment and orchestrate the full loop end to end: plan the campaign, generate the content, personalize the nurture sequence. Marketing Studio users are already creating 81% more campaigns; Breeze users are generating 2.2x more leads. Smart CRM auto-captures calls, emails, and meetings, while a new Context Home scores the gaps in the underlying data so the agents don’t hallucinate against an empty record.
“We hear from customers every day that they don’t want to think about which AI tools to use, they just want outcomes,” said Duncan Lennox, HubSpot’s Chief Product and Technology Officer.
That line is the entire strategic bet. It’s aimed squarely at the five-to-thirty-person business that watched Salesforce’s Dreamforce keynote surface seven job-ready agents with a 72% email open rate benchmark two days ago, and watched the Hunter agent set an autonomous outbound sales benchmark yesterday, and concluded it can’t staff either of those workflows internally.
HubSpot also claims to be the first CRM to integrate with ChatGPT Ads, routing ChatGPT-sourced leads directly into workflows and attribution, alongside a Microsoft Advertising integration. MarTech notes Salesforce may contest the “first” depending on definition. TechTarget confirms every feature announced is generally available now, though analyst Predrag Jakovljević of Technology Evaluation Centers frames the release as an evolution of existing capabilities wrapped in better packaging rather than foundational novelty.
The packaging is the point. With social channels overtaking search for small-business discovery, the SMB stack is being redrawn around whoever can hide the agent layer entirely. HubSpot is betting the CFO reads 3.6x before reading the footnote.
